First weekend reflection

The first weekend reflection of our teaching practice conducted today in our college. Leaders of different school shared their experience, thoughts, and difficulties in front of our Principal and option teachers. They give suggestions and motivation to us. First of all the reflection was done by leader of G. H. S. S Puthoor. She says about special assembly conducted in June 19. Also about the special programmes in the reading day. Then she says about the attitude of teachers and students of that school. Classroom management is very difficult in the eighth standard. Other student trainees of that school also shared their experience. I have got 3 periods in the last week. One was 8 B and the other two was in 9 B. In 8B I have got Physics class and in 9B I have got Chemistry. 3 of my lesson plans was completed. I used chart, activity card, ICT, and real objects for examples to motivate students. Teaching practice - Day 1

On 19 June 2019 we started our teaching practice. As part of this we group of 7 teacher trainies got Govt. H S S Puthoor. On this day 9.15 am, we reached to the school. Meets the principal and signed in the attendance register. The we approached our mentor teacher Priya teacher and discussed about our portion. June 19 is observed annually as reading day ( vayanadinam) for the remberence of P.N Panicker. Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker (1 March 1909 – 19 June 1995) is known as the Father of the  Library Movement in the Indian state of Kerala. As part of the reading day our school conducts a special assembly. Reading day pledge, about P. N Panicker, and a poem are presented by different students. Anil sir, a famous malayalam poet is a faculty of this school also gives a good speech and presented a poem about reading day. He also publish his new books on this occasion.
