SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME (Day1)

             As per the B.Ed curriculum, the five day school induction programme was started on 14 January 2019, Monday. We, group of six teacher trainees from our college selected the Govt. H. S. S. Puthoor. From Physical science, Me and Rini, Arya and Divya from Mathematics and from Malayalam department, Kasthuri and Gopika. First day, morning 9.00 o'clock we reached the school. Meet Headmistress, Jalaja. M teacher and she gave permission. Then we meet concerned teachers to take topics for prepare notes for our classes. 

             Priya teacher, chemistry teacher of standard 8 was my mentor teacher. She is also former student of our college. Give me a warm welcome to the school and gave topic 'Polymer, Fiber, and Plastic' for class. 

                First day we can observed two classes. One is Priya teacher's chemistry class of class 8 and the other is Seena teacher's chemistry class of standard 10. Priya teacher take the topic Water pollution and Seena teacher take the topic, Esters and aromatic compounds. The classes are so useful and informative. At 4 PM returned from the school.

On 2 August 2019 we teacher trainees of G. H. S. S Puthoor conducted an awareness class about drugs, it's side effects and health issues. For this program 8B class is selected. First we gave an introduction about the program. Then we explains about drug abuse in our society. Then shows a video which includes a story of drug addicted person.  ( http://sharevideo1.com/file/UmNhTFhRY2VkN0k=?t=ytb&f=co ). Pupil carefully watched the video. After that, we explained about the video and the after effects of using drugs. Then the students shared their experiences.  We also arranged a quiz competition  based on the same topic, and the winners awarded prices. At last we gave them an another work. That is we gave them a chance to create any poem, story, essay, picture, or cartoon as they can about the topic drug and alcohol abuse. Pupil interestingly participated in this program. It was a very nice experience.

Innovative lesson template

On 2 December 2019, I had taken my innovative lesson template of ' Properties of acid and base'  from the unit Acids, Bases, and salts of standard 9. It was a role play model. Students prepared and presented the role play very well. It was a good and active class.
