Art and Craft

11/09/2018 The day is used to craft education and making of some wonderful materials, under the guidance of Principal Roy sir and Riju sir. They helps and motivates us. Shamna, Neethu, Jasmi, Sandra, and Bijin are the resource persons. Woollen doll, Rose flower, Geometric shape, Hibiscus, and  Pineapple are maked by different materials. The products are then valuated by Sharon teacher and Jisha teacher.

1.Woollen Doll

Materials required : Wool, book, gum, sequence, scissors.

Procedure : Fold the book. Then revolve the wool around the book horizontally in 30 times. Then it is remove from the book and fold at the two ends. It is kept in to later use. Then take the balance wool and revolve vertically around the book at 60 times. Remove from the book and fold one end. Then the rest part is separated in to two and fold one end of each part. Then the middle portion, the already maked material is inserted and fold tightly. The sequence is used to make the doll's eye. It is then decorated. The beautiful doll is ready.

2. Rose Flower

Materials required : Tissue paper, Scissors, Green leaves tape, Thin metal wire.

Procedure : Tissues are cut like petals. Then it is joined using the wire. The flower stem is made up using the thin wire and green tape. The flower is ready.

3. Geometric shape (Cube)

Materials required : Chart, Scissor, Gum

Procedure : The chart is cut for making the cube. Each side has same length and breadth. The cut chart piece is joined together by gum. Then the cube is ready. 

4. Hibiscus Flower

Materials required : Organic cloth, small metal wire, scissor, Green tape.

Procedure : The organic cloth is tightly revolve around a pencil or pen. It is then removed from the pen. The cloth has a shape like hibiscus petal. 6 - 7 petals are made and it is joined together by the wire. The stem is made by wire and green tape. Then the hibiscus flower ready.

5. Pineapple ( Bottle Craft )

Materials required : Plastic bottle, Fish wire, sequence, pin, scissor. 

Procedure :  A plastic bottle is taken and cut the top portion. The bottom is used to make pineapple. Then the fishing wire is shaped like HIV aids sign. It is decorated using sequence. Then it is pinned into the plastic bottle. Repeat the same procedure until the bottle portion completely covered. Pineapple ready.
